Bio
Neuroscience & Complex Networks and Systems
Maria is a PhD student in Neuroscience and Complex Networks and Systems. She received a B.S. in Neuroscience and the Program of Liberal Studies from the University of Notre Dame. Her love of books and philosophy fuels her desire to learn more about how the brain allows us to engage in these activities. She completed her senior thesis on artifical neural networks and has also worked on a project investigating the metastability of different brain regions as a matter of involvement in higher cognition.
