Biography: Kenzie Givens is a first year PhD student in Evolution, Ecology and Behavior and Complex Networks and Systems. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, she received her B.A. in Biology from Reed College in 2017. Kenzie is currently working with Professor Matthew Hahn and Rafael Guerrero to model how the architecture of gene regulatory networks constrains the evolution of gene expression. Other interests include coevolution on dynamic and rugged fitness landscapes, higher-order epistasis and robustness-evolvability tradeoffs.
