Harry Yaojun Yan is a Ph.D. Student dual majoring in Media Arts and Sciences & Complex Networks and Systems, at Indiana University-Bloomington. His theoretical interests include multilevel complexity of media effects on social dynamics and cognitions, and dynamics of public opinion formation process; while his empirical research focuses on media effects and attitudes change with special attentions to misinformation, social minorities and inequalities.

- Agent-based modeling on multi-level complexity of media effects;
- Experiment on effects of human-bots interaction on third-person effects;
- Differentiated social capital and perceived effectiveness of social media job searching.
