Complex Networks and Sytems
Rachith earned a master's in Physics and a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from BITS-Pilani, India. His current projects include using insights from cognitive decision-making to mathematically model social contagion (with Dr. YY Ahn), identifying superspreaders of misinformation on social networks (with Dr. Filippo Menczer), and machine learning techniques to identify influential spreaders using network heuristics (with Drs. Santo Fortunato and Filippo Radicchi). Soon, Rachith will be working on projects involving graph embeddings and natural language processing to better understand scientific and social systems.
