Mahi is a PhD student working with Dr. Peter Todd in the Adaptive Behavior and Cognition Lab. Prior to starting her PhD career at IU, she attained her MA and BA in applied psychology from University of Mumbai. Mahi is currently working on a project exploring the co-evolution of ecological patchiness and cognition using genetic algorithms and agent based models. Simultaneously, she is also interested in the structure of the working memory and the evolution
of working memory limits. One of her current projects models the influence of recency (as induced by working memory limits) on simple decision making.
