Bio
Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, Program in Neuroscience
Sam is a third-year PhD student working with Profs Ehren Newman and John Beggs. She completed her BSc in Mathematics at North Carolina State University in 2015. Her research involves analysis and modeling of information processing by networks of neurons recorded at high spatiotemporal resolution. Her current projects involve characterizing the computations carried out by spiking neurons in vitro and examining information transfer in hippocampal local field potentials.
