The CNS-NRT program focus primarily on 5 major research efforts, use the links below to invetigate these efforts in more detail.
Major Research Efforts
The CNS-NRT PhD program also capitalizes on the new Indiana University Network Science Institute (IUNI) with over 165 faculty members who participate in network science and complex systems research and who serve in interdisciplinary PhD program committees, co-chaired by research mentors from both CNS and a target empirical domain. IUNI gives us the ability to develop a training activity that seamlessly integrates academic education with interdisciplinary hands-on research to produce a new breed of STEM scientists capable of addressing the complex problems of the XXI century.
In addition to the executive committee and core faculty labs, many exciting CNS research projects are pursued in the various research labs, such as:
ABC-W | Adaptive Behavior and Cognition–West |
ALife | Artificial Life Group |
Beggs Lab | The Beggs' Lab at IU Bloomington |
CNetS | Center for Complex Networks and Systems Research |
CSBC | Center for Social and Biomedical Complexity |
CCNC | Clinical & Cognitive Neuroscience Center |
CASCI | Complex Adaptive Systems and Computational Intelligence |
Cortex | Computational Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory |
