NRT Trainees Showcase their Research

By: Rion Brattig Correia

Friday, March 22, 2019

Near the end of each academic year, NRT trainees showcase their research at an event that also includes an invited speaker. This Research Showcase gives all NRT participants a chance to familiarize themselves with the research conducted within the program, and give the trainees an opportunity to practice their presentation skills for their future careers. In addition, one of the external colloquia will be scheduled to coincide with this meeting, with the outside visitor serving as both a keynote speaker as well as one of the judges for a best poster award. The second CNS NRT research showcase will be held April 5th, 2019 4pm in the lobby in Luddy Hall.

Prof. Melanie Mitchel, from Portland State University and the Santa Fe Institute, and also a member of the CNS NRT advisory board, will be the guest colloquium speaker, starting at 3:00pm.
