CNS-NRT fellow Zackary Dunivin (Complex Systems and Sociology) has been accepted into the Tobin Project’s Reassessing Threat Assessment Graduate Student Fellowship and Workshop. The Tobin Project is an independent funding agency located in Cambridge, MA which supports interdisciplinary research with the aim of understanding and improving public life. Zackary will be presenting his joint work with fellow CNS-NRT student Vincent Wong on the white nationalist community on Twitter and receive a $1,000 grant toward their project. The research under CNS Professor Fil Menzcer aims to quantifying the process of increasing community participation at the individual level, understand what drives group affiliation and develop a predictive model of radicalization which can be employed in real time to identify and intervene to direct vulnerable individuals away from future militancy.
